Q: Do you accept cash or check?
A: Sorry.  We only accept Paypal.

Q: The model I want is not in stock.  Can I still order it?  If yes, how long is the wait?
A: We try our best to restock it as soon as we can.  The waiting time might be 3-4 weeks (not including shipping time).

Q: Where do you ship from?
A: We ship straight from our garage in San Jose, Northern California.

Q: Can I pick up the cages, if I live nearby the Bay Area?
A: Yes, we do local pick up.  We will not charge you any shipping fees.  Your total price is just the cage.

Q:  How much is shipping?  It doesn't say on the form.
A: To keep shipping cost to a bare minimum, we will calculate your total shipping cost based on your home address and the quantity of order.

Q: Do you do combine shipping for multiple items?
A:  Yes.

Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?
A: Yes, we will ship anywhere as long as the buyer is willing to pay for shipping cost.   However, the shipping time is much faster in the States and Canada, than to Europe and other continents.

Q: What is the return policy?
A: We only do returns on damaged item through shipping in Canada and the United States.  Please look at the pictures and double-check the dimensions before placing an order.

Q: I already paid.  When can I expect to receive the items?
A: We ship through standard mail, USPS, which takes 7-10 business days for orders in the United States.  Shipping time depends on your geographic location.

A:  Normally, we do not do expedient shipping.  However, we could arrange a faster shipping service with additional shipping cost from the buyer.

Welcome - About Me!

Welcome to Asian Bamboo Bird Cages blog!  This is my website to accompany my ebay store, which I will launch soon.  Collecting and raising exotic birds have always been a lifetime hobby and passion of mine for the last thirty years.  When I moved to the States in 1997, I still manage to find time for my bird pastime. However, I was really disappointed with the lack of high quality bird cages in the States.  Well, that's not exactly true since the aesthetics and variety here are very distinct.  Many cages are metal, many are wood. But perhaps because of certain kind of nostalgia for the homeland, I prefer the Asian-style, high-quality bamboo cages with elegant wood cravings.  Understandingly, there are not many distributors here in the States which specializes in the kinds I want.  There are several on ebay and from other traders, but I find the prices well beyond what I am willing to pay for.  I began to start building my own cages.  Over time, I have learned that in order to make quality cages, one needs high quality woods.  Thus, I have decided to built my own networks, from my trips back home.  I went straight to the craftsman themselves all over Vietnam.  And as a result, I manage to secure a diverse selection of cages, from rosewood, to high quality bamboo wood.  I hope to share my passion for bird collecting with you.  Subsequent posts will be about the selection of cages I carry, straight from my converted garage-to-warehouse.
